Why did you choose this area of expertise How has been the journey so far?

When I went for post-graduation there was a definite lack of oncologists and oncology centers. Treatment were not stream-lined while the population & cancer was on the rise. It was my dream to make quality, upto date treatment accessible to all The journey has been fulfilling have managed a sizeable number of cancer patients and walking them through all stages of cancer.

What does a typical day in your shoes look like?

There is a special bond between the cancer patients & me. A lot of emotions & Hard Work go into dealing with these aspects. patient care,medical and radiation oncology - integrated is a complicated and essential part of what i do and more importantly it gives a feeling of contributing to society

What do you love about Oncology? is it something you wanted to do it?

Yes, definitely! Each new case is a challenge & unique. There is no monolony and being - "CANCER" the stakes are high. Each & every case is very different and the challenges with a high amount of risk involved This is the only field where a human Body is phentomised into a computer and then a lot of HI-Tech computer work is involved.

What does the future hold for Oncology?

Better Treatment, cure rates and remission palliative care also tends to extend lives of incurable diseases by years, these issues are resolving on their own.
